Severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and early evening. This is an alert to the potential development of severe thunderstorms with large hail, damaging winds or heavy rainfall..Monitor weather conditions and listen for updated bulletins.
Finally, rain, they said.

However, only a brief storm, with little rain. I stopped on my way home from RFYC.ca regatta, and couldn't believe the lightning. No hail. Light winds, as we were on the edge of the storm. I heard it hit Westport pretty hard!

Good video. The same storm seemed to travel just north of our location. We only had a very little rain.

As for milkweed, I started some plants from seed this spring. I will transplant the young shoots as soon as we move to our new place. ATB!

There is nothing like a thunder and lightening storm to remind us of the power of nature and how wonderful it can be. Keep you head down...lol...I love a thunder storm especially over the lake at our camp.

Pittsburgh had terrible flash flooding following a heavy rainstorm clogging drains. Thunderstorms are beautiful, like in your picture, but they can also be dangerous. - Margy

It's hurricane season coming up so we're always watching the weather news. There seems to be a lot more violent weather this year. It's so scary.
