Back by popular demand: the critters.
Labbit has been busy. She's eating the deer feed, and scattered bird seed under the feeder.
I found a baby once, while I was doing the lawn. May, 2011.
She's been going into Fred's burrow #4, under the septic bed. One with a double entrance/exit. I followed he tracks.
Everyone likes the deer feeders!
On Dec. 31st, there were a few deer. Jan. 1st we were up to 19!
The deer are still working on this Hallowe'en pumpkin. I guess if they are hungry...
The deer and the coyotes like the driveway! This is a fine looking one. They are good coyotes, and only come around when we are in bed.
This is a throw back, a compilation from August. We can look forward to warmer days! That's how long this coyote has been managing its sore leg.

That is a long time for a coyote to be surviving with a sore leg. That means there are plenty of rabbits, mice, and whatnot for it to eat in the surrounding forest.
My daughter has many deer in her property in Maberly. Always great to see them. The coyotes howl and yip at night, but so far have remained invisible. They just installed their first trail cam, so we’ll see what that reveals.
It must be so pleasant to see all those deer. And you also get the coyote videos to enjoy.
I'm still surprised that the rabbit is out in winter. I thought they would hibernate when it was really cold.
Hello Jenn,
Love the cute bunny photos and video!
The deer videos are favorites too.
I guess the coyote can manage well with a sore leg.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great day and happy weekend.
19 deer, they must have heard about the buffet :)!

Always delighted to see all your wildlife. I hope the coyote can recover. Seeing the baby rabbit both in photo and video was a smile bringer. Hope you and Jo and all the family have A very Happy New Year!
With nineteen deer visiting one day shows how many are in the area.
Your trailcam videos are so good.
Sending good wishes for this New Year of 2026.
All the best Jan
