Murder, disappearances, scams

 

All is not well in rural Ontario. A Shout Out to all our First Responders who deal with these issues. Keep safe out there.

Ont. woman charged with murder in husband's death
Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police said Tuesday they were called out to a home just after 7 p.m. Monday. ... died as a result of foul play, said OPP spokeswoman Sgt. Kristine Rae. She would not release the cause of death

Sault OPP continue search for two overdue hunters--stepbrothers 
Northern Ontario. By OPP release.  ... Sault Ste. Marie Police Canine Unit are currently searching for two lost males whose vehicle was located on highway #38.



OPP issue warnings of usual and unusual scams
The Lanark detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police said Tuesday one scam involved a person who was trying to sell a van online
. Others involve scammers phoning from the US.

We take our First Responders for granted in Canada.


Now is the time to think of our men and women who serve here, and those who serve and have served in other countries. 


Countries in which the law is a dubious thing and whether we truly can make a difference over there.
