Britannica says beavers are primarily nocturnal, I've read. They can get up to 16 - 50 kg (110 lbs.). They are the largest rodents in North America.

Sept., 2025 – I saw some signs, but it appears to move on after the drought.
Nov. 23 – I found more signs in November: Busy as a beaver, lots of trees down. 📹
Nov. 24th – Spotted it as well as coyote tracks.
