Saturday was an amazing day. It was like summer at 25℃, just balmy.
Our snow is all gone!
Daffodils are coming up.
We got lots done. The water fountain attracts all sorts of critters. This dock spider was hanging out under the tarp. It disappeared.
I threw the old one on the ground. It was a bit of a mess.
They hibernate in old mouse holes and such, under the rocks until it warms up.
We've dismantled the veggie garden. I didn't have the back for it. There is a pine tree growing!
Both water barrels are set up. Mind you, as I write this Sunday morning it is snowing. 😖😕 It won't stick around in April.
The daffodils are coming along out front.
I washed all this plastic containers. There are 12 of them from over the winter. Someone always picks them up. They are useful for people!
These sweet little things are all over the front lawn. I know they are invasive, but so am I!

It's starting to happen here too... about time! YAM xx
Saturday was The Day that we look forward to every spring: Sunday or today, not so much.
I love to see the spring flowers like the Scilla. They will be cold this morning.
Ha ha ha, is that Cinnamon? Everything looks so different, nice to have the ground showing again. Plus the cheery daffodils & Scila.
We had snow yesterday too, though it certainly didn't stick. Let those Scilla invade; they look great!
Thank you for your lovely photos — everything looks so different with the snow, really beautiful. I have to admit, snakes scare me a bit. We hardly have any here in the Netherlands, and sometimes it feels like all snakes outside our country are dangerous — which of course isn’t true.
I really enjoyed looking at your photos, especially the spring flowers. That little blue one with white… we have that here too. We also have daffodils, but I think that tiny blue flower is much prettier.
Wishing you a very lovely week!
I wouldn't know what kind of snake I was seeing if I saw one around here. I'm not scared of snakes though, I think they're interesting. So many things to keep you busy there.
So glad the snow is gone! (Don't get too cocky, though. We got some yesterday -- caught Rick on a bike ride. Nothing major, didn't stick or even show up but coming down the flakes were pretty big!)
Kitty's gonna get her nose bit! Linda in Kansas
You have a happy post today with nice weather and critters that are out and about.
Lovely to see Spring has arrived in your area. Thank you for all these wonderful photos.
