Spring has sprung!

 The grass has riz...

Jordan and Caitlin packed up his dorm room at Queen's U in Kingston. They took everything to the new student housing apartment he and a friend will rent for the next year. He is in Ottawa for a week, then goes back to look for a summer job. He's been looking for weeks. I hope he finds something.

Parent/child bonding! Hot and sweaty, Jorden texted, but they have big smiles. A job well done.

In Vancouver our grandies are outdoors enjoying the sun and Spring weather.

👮We watched a Border Security: American's Front Line. We used to watch the one filmed in Canada. They stopped filming that. I don't know why.

One show they showed them using this amazing tool. I roared! I need that for opening the kitty little containers. Joe went online, searching for 'large lid opener!'

Mother's Day came early! The cats bought this for me.

It is amazing. I wanted it to open up the kitty litter we use. It is light, and fragrance free. It is amazing! I put the empty containers out at the end of the driveway, they disappear in a day.

Fred is grooming. When you are doing renovations, you need to do this frequently!

Busy Barry Beaver! This is #2 of 4. All on one night.

We had a heckuva rain yesterday. About 23 mm, nearly an inch. Spring flowers!

I've never seen that bucket opener.. Normally would have no need but I have one big bucket of litter in the basement that I can't open no matter how hard I try. Crocus and daffs -- definitely spring! And love that Jordan is moving to a new spot. Those two look so happy!

That tool looks like a handy thing to have around the house.

Nothing like the right tool for a job!
Your grands are busy young people. Don't you love watching them grow?

We got just enough rain to make everything damp and MAYBE knock down the rogue fires. It was nice to see sunshine again today but BRRRR, it's a tad nippy,

I could use one of those lid openers too. I'll have to check them out.

your first words remind me of Robert Browning's " Pippa Passes"
---------------------
The year's at the spring,
And day's at the morn;
Morning's at seven;
The hillside's dew pearled;
The larks's on the wing;
The snail's on the thorn;
God's in His heaven--
All's right with the world!
------------------------------
I just wish it were so with the world.
XXX to you up north.

Time goes by in a hurry. Kids grow up before we know it.

Does that litter leave tracks. We once purchased a light litter, and it left tracks, so we reverted. Not that we need litter anymore, but it might be good to know.

Happy Spring, Jenn! And happy May Day. We used to say May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii.
