It's still winter!

Fisher  I've seen the fisher live once. In the forest. Metres away. It ran like heck away from me.

This is a screen shot of photos that fascinated me. It's a nice account to follow

Soon the bears will wake up, and the feeders will have to go away.

This photo took a bit of patience. The male cardinal on the tray feeder, the female on the tubular feeder.
I was watching them and she was on the left of the tublar feeder, he landed on the right of the feeder. He poked his head around at her, and flew off.

Two red squirrels.

I think it was staring at the mourning doves in the sun in front of the house.

Joe Brian is managing symptoms. Thanks for your empathy. He's getting sleep, and then wakes with that 100 day cough. Caitlin sent me some flowers to cheer me up! She is kind.

Those flowers are lovely. Please tell Joe and Rick and I are thinking of him and hope his recovery is soon!

Somehow I didn't remember that you take the feeders down because of bears. That makes sense. I love the cheery flowers :)

Pretty flowers. My best to your Joe the 100 days cough is no joke. We seem to have avoided it so far this winter.

Spring flowers even though you still have cold days. They are always a good pick-you-up ,

Yes that is way cool. I am going to follow it back. And a nice shot of the deer in the sun, as well as both cardinals. You rock.

I have only seen a marten once, decades ago. It ran past me as I was sitting on a log in Mount Lassen National Park.

It won’t be as nice today — unfortunately.

I have always wanted to see a Fisher. I have never seen a Fisher. I am jealous!

I don't think I've ever heard of a Fisher. They're cute little guys.

Sweet of Caitlin to send you those pretty flowers. Very interesting about the fishers. I also enjoy your deer and birdlife. Thanks Jenn!
