4. Yam's Visit to Southeastern Ontario: Friday

I've organized all of my Yam Visit photos, this is the last day. Only a week ago! She is back home in Scotland, now.

Friday, June

62 km –Perth to Manotick: The Swan, for a lookie at the Marina and lunch. We were early, they didn't open util 11:00! Lovely boats, and much traffic (including two fire engines). I loved the paperweight to keep the bill from flying away! One sleepy-looking teen selling strawberries...

15 km –Long Isl. Lock Station, for a walkabout. (We were early for the train, too!)

21 km  – Ottawa Train Station, where we bade a fond farewell!

Farewell, Yam!

This was the first leg of Yam's trip, beginning at BAR, then visiting friends along the way. We were all so happy to welcome her, I know!
Yam is a world traveler,
After Yam left us, she took a train east. She is an amazing world traveler! She took the train east, ending in Halifax, where she headed home July 1st, to Scotland.
