The garden thrives in the rain, heat, and humidity. People are wilting, however. People in and near Ottawa had a brief tornado warning. There was a lot of thunder and lightning. There was hail and strong winds in Ottawa. It toppled trees and knocked out power.

July 25

July 16 – huge rainstorm. Overflowing rain gauge! I thought the top was askew.

July 13 – tornadoes in Barrhaven: Tornado in Ottawa!

July 7 – heat warnings in 7 provinces and 2 territories.

July 3 - 6th was HOT.
