Trailcam, flowers and birds

I am so excited! I bought me a new trailcam. It uses Wifi and connects to the smart phone. No fiddling around with SD Cards. I can upload images directly to my iPhone and my photo stream, from the back deck. It's a game changer!

You can see the camera on the purple pencil.

The skies have been dark and ominous.
Hellbores:
Forsythia:

I am down to one bird feeder. I am waiting for the grosbeaks to arrive before I put them away.

In other news, Caitlin took Jordan back to Kingston. They stocked up on groceries, put together the new bed frame, Caitlin went back to Ottawa.

Jordan made himself some shakshuka for dinner! Our country is so rich from foreign cuisine. I think Jordan got the cooking inspiration from the parental unit!

Aster was on a camping weekend with Trex, Caitlin & JL had a date night at Zoe's in the Chateau Laurier.

These flowers are made of Lego!

Sunday we attended Caitlin's Spring concert. More on that later once I curate the photos.

That new trailcam is a total game-changer for capturing nature without the SD card hassle! It’s wonderful to see the garden coming to life with the Hellebores and Forsythia, even under those ominous skies. Have you caught any interesting visitors on the new camera yet, or are you still waiting on those grosbeaks to make an appearance?

One character looks a little stiff in the photo. Linda in Kansas

Innovative and so handy with no small fiddly SD cards to grapple with. Uni life, something I had wished for but too far away to manage with travel and accommodation out of financial reach.

Always an exciting time going back to school. It's really nice to see Jordan cooking such delicious looking food. It's fun to try different types, as we are finding out at this stage of our lives. We have many ethnic foods in our area. I can't believe that when we lived in San Diego we barely touched Mexican food. I wasn't long out of the UK coming from a plain cooking family who looked at garlic like it was from the moon. To be fair to them back in those days it wasn't readily available. I smile because in SD I also had a two year old with a husband away at sea, and we didn't eat out much, excuses, excuses, lol! Great post of all the birds and so on. Have a great week Jenn!
