We've been having fun! I had the best Birthday ever! Thank you for your kind wishes. I'll have lots more, but will have to devote some time to collating photos. The party isn't over yet. The Ottawa kids are here, and we partied!
We haven't seen many deer lately. Not until this past week. The sun shone and the world sparkled.
Our neighbour feeds 'em to lure them to shoot them, so we do our part. We feed them to watch them, and hope for a gift of antlers.

I had to repair this feeder. I built them in April, 2015!
Pickle stabber buck. If you looks closely, you can see a few drops of blood on the antler. The younger they are, the less testosterone they have, and the sooner they lose their antlers.
Christmas morning, I was awake before dawn.
So were the deer! They were wandering about, eating dead weeds.
Funny thing, I sent the link to two of my kids, Caitlin (Ottawa) and Jesse (Vancouver) and they both had the same comment, 'he noped out of there.'
I had to look it up. It is a thing!

...keep the party going.
Best Birthday Ever and Kids are here! These are words I love to see, for I can hear the joy in them! Merry!
I'm glad that the birthday was a good one!
Cute card, and now I know a phrase that I probably would never hear in person! So glad deer are coming to your territory again. Pats to little Cinnamon from me! I do miss petting a cat!
The kitty video is cute. I love your deer friends.
Happy Friday, have a great day and a happy weekend!
What a nice Christmas morning visit in the dark.
I am glad that your birthday was (and is) excellent. Love your deer. I had to look up noped out too.
What a card, and " Nope" I have heard but not the whole phrase. Yes you did have a white Christmas. And it sounds like your day was special too. XXX
Thank you for what you do and for sharing with us! The sun shone and the world sparkled!
Aloha
Oh, cats, they are so curious and funny.
I love your deer. Went for a hike today and didn't see any.
Good that you had a good birthday celebration.
Belated happy birthday! Wonderful photos. I never heard that expression but it’s a good one.
