May 29th – another dump of rain: 19 mm!
May 25th – a storm rolled in: 14.73mm
May 19th – chilly!
May 18 – horrid storms across southern Ontario: 1 mm for us.
May 17th
May 14th – threat of rain, maybe hail. 5.6 mm is all.
May 5th – 38.9 mm
There are warnings everywhere: Toronto, Muskoka, Ottawa, Kingston, Quebec.

May flooding
It is everywhere: eastern Ontario: Constance Bay, Ottawa; southern Ontario: Belleville, Kingston, Toronto Island; Central Ontario: Muskoka; west Quebec; New Brunswick; southern interior B.C.
Much damage to property is far better than the loss of life. For all the rain, and flooding, it seems like the only human tragedies are two men missing in B.C.: the amazing fire chief, and an older man whose home was washed away. There have been many evacuations from here to there. More photos here.

May 4th – another storm, a long one: 18.5 mm the first night
May 2 – more rain: 4.8 mm
May 1 – 58.8 mm all told!
The storms came in, formerly tornadoes in Texas, bringing lots of water. By 7:00 a.m., we had had 25.4 mm, I checked again in the afternoon: another dump of 11 mm, and in the evening, another huge storm.
