Forest Fires in Ontario

I like reading Twitter some days. Usually they are people preaching to the choir, however.
Some citiots just don't get it.
They risk our homes, wildlife.

One tourist bragging about his lovely vacay, is violating the fire ban in the retweet above, playing music by the lake, and drinking. This is why we moved away from our lovely lake.

People fishing right out front, where we swim. Lures snagged underwater.

Dad and my brother sailing.
There was a fire in Niagara-on-the-Lake, caused by a car's exhaust setting the grass on fire.

Crew responded to grass fire in area of Seeleys Bay St & Cambrian Rd. Where fire rapidly spread fr grass to a fence. Fire extinguished before it escalated to a full response grass fire. REMINDER: open Air Burn Ban remains in effect fall ALL types of fires

Temagami has had some horrid fires. They have evacuated. Many from the city just don't understand how dry things are in cottage country.

These fires were started by lightning.

Lots of fires across Ontario.
We only have a partial fire ban... as we are on the south east edge of the red.

What is it like in your neck of the woods?
