Well snow, snow, snow! The ground cover is wonderful, as it protects flora and fauna. We woke to -19 C. temperatures. At -20 C. and F. meet. Just so you know!
I've not seen feral (?) 😼Oregano for several days. It's been cold. And snowy. Maybe he's not feral, even if he isn't fixed.
It's funny seeing the young buck hanging out with family. Next year he will be with the males in their winter yard. He should have lost his 2nd antler by now. doe and buck in snow
The snowy doe and yearling are eating low-hanging evergreen boughs. The snow accumulated enough weight for them to reach.

Love these winter videos. The yearling certainly appears to have a thick, warm coat. Love the eyes watching that big "bird" at the feeder.

We've found a place on one of the trails we hike that we see deer just about every time. Would be fun to have a trail cam there. Love seeing what you see! Enjoy your weekend!
The Mourning Doves are indeed lovely. I think that many people take them for granted because they are so common but they are striking birds by any standards. A couple of day ago I had twenty-one in my backyard.

The deer are a treat to see close to home.
You are so lucky to be able to live among all that wildlife and see how they live.
Lovely videos of your deer. It is interesting to see them eat from the trees. I have not seen that behaviour in Sweden. But maybe they do!
I love seeing your trailcam videos Jenn! That yearling is adorable eating like that!! It was -20 here too this morning, but it's up to the minus single digits during the day which is really nice :))
