JB ended up watching it online. It's not a bad system. You can see, in the screen captures below, how they show where the stones are placed. JB really enjoys the statistics, and it's a great hobby, since his arm/shoulder/back issues preclude many activities.
As I write this (Friday), we anxiously await to see if Canada makes it into the finals. It's been hit and miss, and our team really struggled, losing games they shouldn't have lost. They must be tired, as they've been playing for weeks between the mixed doubles, and other tournaments: Canadian Tournament of Hearts, 5 weeks straight.
Good news: they won!
Canada made it in. There is some controversy, however. Despite the popularity of the game, they avoid the controversy. Thank goodness for Devin Heroux!

There you are Daisy, your success and interest in live TV games lives on. I love watching winter games, here if the ice freezes over enough on one of the South Island lakes it is held there. Pity about all the Covid cases.
Love the attention the cat is paying to the game!
Watched when possible, twitter feed was great, didn’t miss that what ifs and what could if beens from the commentators. Hoping some of the mixed doubles will be tekevised.
That is such an interesting Olympic sport. I don't quite understand it, but it's interesting.
I tried curling twice. I am slow-witted and never figured out how to rotate the stone from the signals that they were giving me.
