What fun!

I joined my local group, at the suggestion of my clever daughter, and have passed on a 14' TV antenna, and a Canon Rebel G camera that requires 35mm film.

I've been so happy with this site. They write:

Ever seen so much stuff?

Having purged our 'stuff' we realized thing we needed and didn't need. We donated a table and chairs to Habitat for Humanity. Gave dressers to granddaughters.

Eating off of the cardtable was a hoot.For a short period of time.

It was delightful having excuses to go out to dinner, though!

The Bala Bay Inn is now closed for the season. Never did see its ghost!

A wedding party, anxious for outdoor shots, crowded onto the balcony and the balcony collapsed. No one was seriously hurt. Thank goodness. Emergency Responders were there quickly.

The Inn is a popular place for wedding receptions.

July 17, 2010, they will celebrate 100 years. Originally called the Swaztika Hotel, situated on the old Bala road, which was a cow path in those days, it was renamed to be politically correct!

A MOOSE!!!! Finally!

You may well laugh...after driving for cappuccino to all sorts of places, whilst hunting for moose...

—Guided by those who suggest Aspdin, or Algonquin Park, and getting up at 5:30 three days in a row...

I have spotted some moose.

I hope they had a good conference. Bala Bay is the place to be!
