Jan. 26 – Lake Effect Rain

The Great Lakes have not frozen, which means that we are susceptible to the winds picking up the moisture. 

This is the rain in green in the screengrab.  A Twitter acquaintance called it " lasagna layers of badness".

Jan. 25 by 11:30 the rain changed to snow

Sunday morning, 7:30, it was raining, when I got up. JB was up at 4 a.m. and said it was snowing. At 8 a.m. it is snowing, again. We had nearly 50 mm rain Saturday.


There are more than 12,000 homes without power.
