Crumbly Acres Blossoms

Wow, what a change in temperatures. It is just 2 ℃ Wednesday morning.  It was up to 24℃ Wednesday afternoon. Today (Thursday) it was below zero and the bird bath froze. (Yes, I unplugged the heater!) I'm almost afraid to go out and check them.

A porcupine ambled across the backyard, coming up from the gully to feed on weeds.

Tuesday, April 29th, the storm passed over.

We did some good work, cleaning out the garage. The oak leaves were everywhere. It rather overwhelmed me mentally, but I asked Joe for help. It's such a big job. I decided to give myself permission to just do one side, in a manageable goal. We have a pile ready to go to the dump. I think we should wait until I clean out the shed.

The trees are in blossom. The grass is very green.

We were headed into town for COVID boosters. This was the windy day. This kind passenger leapt out of the car and moved the recycling bin off the road. Good for her!

The tulips are coming along.

The daffodils have popped up. These were planted in 2023.

YAY SPRING!

Hello Jenn :)
Your sky shots are beautiful, and the porcupine showing up was a surprise. It's never dull at your place. Be careful with your back when you clean up, that's how I hurt mine. It's nice to see the flowers appearing, and such a green lawn.
All the best
Sonjia.

That bench sure looks like a comfy place to sit a bit and ponder things.
Uffdah, cleaning out the garage! It looks great though!
A bit at a time is a good thing.

It's been fluctuating in temperatures here too. Cool one day and hot the next. Lovely pictures. I like seeing the critters.

Th temperatures here are erratic too. I love the pinkish sky in your photos. I need to get my Covid booster -- especially before our Sec. of Health decides they are pointless. UGH>

I am loving your signs of spring. Our weather is variable here too. It is 3C here at the moment but we won't get to 20 today. Blue skies though. And daffodils to plant (when I have weeded room for them).
