What a storm!

We have power back. The storm came through the region 3:30 Saturday afternoon. Power was out across the province, with downed power lines. We were out for 23 hours.

Then, the Internet went wonky. I am anxious to see how everyone is doing, but this will have to suffice.

Here is archived radar of the derecho that travelled almost 1,000 km from Michigan to Quebec City on Saturday, which brought major damages and power outages #onstorm #qcstorm pic.twitter.com/fqJtcYQkUa

We had some unsettled weather and storms but nothing that knocked out power here. Hope everything is back to normal now.

Glad you're ok. Hope your refrigerated foods didn't spoil. I read about your storm even sitting in Kansas. Linda

My pals north of you are stuck without power but have a generator for all the essentials of fridge freezer etc. But that can't last them forever. Stay safe you two! YAM xx

23 hours without power - that's torture.

I hope that all is well now. I wish you hadn't mentioned banana bread though. I'm feeling right peckish.
