Happy World Wetland Day!

Cinnamon was sleeping in his bed. I asked him if he wanted walkies. He did! He lifted himself up, stretched, and appeared in the foyer, yawning, ready to go. I don't know if he understands me, or knows the ritual!

We walked past the tree that is splitting. Still standing! Creaking a lot, though! It's the tree in the middle, fork at the top. One day, in a wind, she's gonna go!

We went to the island  in the middle of the wetland. It was fitting on World Wetland Day! This is a 360˚ view, if you are interested. It's so peaceful.

 There were several deer beds.

Off we went, the island behind Cinnamon, we went back to the house.

Apparently, after getting snow in between your toes, in the snow, there was clean up to do!

A big storm, plus winds! It's still snowing today, a day later! I shall have my coffee and then venture forth. Oregano was here, again, in the middle of the night. He emptied a can of cat food, dragged it out of the heated cat house. I figure the heat would ensure that the food didn't freeze. He dragged out the flannelette pillow that was insulating the house! Twerp!

Love the crunches as you walk in the snow, and Oregano, a twerp indeed, but he is getting closer to being a friend rather than a feral visitor.

Cats sleeping like that... it's hard to resist giving a tummy rub.

Jenn - our cat used to sleep on her back with all four legs in the air - it made me laugh to see Cinnamon in a similar position! I find it fascinating that Cinnamon will go for a walk with you. Thanks for sharing the 360 view - very interesting. Stay healthy and warm!
