Next, off to the trailcams in the forest, but first I went out to the mailbox. Of course, a cigarette package. I cleaned up this area yesterday. CRIKEY! (Sorry, yelling, I know...)
Headed to the forest, a beautiful garter snake, rustling amongst the dry leaves.
The frog pond had a skiff of ice on it!
Then, my eyes do not deceive me, an owl pellet, with teeny, little mice bones in it.
The trailcam showed Butch raccoon, the snow beginning at 13:30 a.m., then a doe.

I was out ditch diving again. I am making progress. I'm a bit achy, and I wrenched my knee, but...
I had buddies supervise me.

Out in the ditches, I looked up and saw the yellow-bellied sapsucker!
I found another snake!
I hobbled home, my knee a bit sore. You'd be surprised how heave some of it is. I had a hot bath with epsom salts.
It was my youngest granddaughter's birthday. Bryony is now 2.
We did a Facetime chat and I played my little birthday card, which sings Happy Birthday! It was a fun moment.

...I need to learn how to Facetime, it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks!
Litter makes m.e angry. My daughter and grandson went out to pick up roadside trash as an Earth Day activity.
I thought it was too cold for snakes but I'm obviously wrong about that!
Happy Birthday to little Briony! She's adorable as always!
