Who goes there in the forest?

My poor, old trailcam. It has issues, due to Junior Bear mauling it. I used my hankie to secure it to the tree. I have another one on order for my birthday, which is this month. The tree is the wrong size for the bungie cord! Then, it rained and it all froze to the tree!

This is what the trailcam saw. I'm wondering if someone knows.
Here is the mystery: dinner time, around the buck's scrape. I know Daisy was in at the time. She's been hesitant to go outdoors in the cold, in her old age (6).
Something white, with a darker tail. There are no other cats on our wetland. Perhaps a weasel?!

P.S. Our big buck has disappeared. I think he is done with the scrape, as well as his doe. They will be pregnant all winter.

Yes, I would think it's a weasel.

What about the eyes up high, deer? Not sure about the ground critter. - Margy

It is sometimes a great surprise what is revealed by trail cams. Makes you leery about walking out in the dark!

If that big guy is pregnant, you can get some serious $ for the photo and story. :)
