Kitties, snow, & Christmas

Sorry if I bore you! I'm missing extended family, and ghosts of fabulous Christmases past, and taking succour in our pets! I miss the students, whose various multi-cultural celebrations enhanced our Decembers.

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate. This is a creche I built back in the day.

All felines are improving. Hooper isn't sneezing as much. Daisy is eating again, not a lot, but enough.
I figured out how to light the Christmas tree...although she's pretty much avoided it since her incident. Our room light has a wee reading light that makes a good spotlight.

Daisy was atop the caterpillar. Hooper was in one of the cubby hole!

He's a busy boy!

Daisy is back to her usual behaviour, sitting outside the bathroom in the morning to jump on Annie's head. Hooper is trying to play with Annabelle. Annabelle doesn't know how to play. We'll see how this goes. She cleaned his ear in the morning, then, when he sneezed in her face in the afternoon, she growled. Then, he snuck up behind her, and she growled, putting a big paw on his forehead to keep him away.

They are amazing nappers! Hooper usually sleeps on JB's neck, during nap time and at night.

I went out and cleaned the birdbath. I had supervisors. I put fresh snow in the birdbath.

(This was after I picked up the last of the fallen wood before Sunday night's snowstorm REALLY buries it!)

Daisy is on the 2nd from top step, Annie on the walk. Then, Annie found a bed.

Can you see me in the Christmas ball?!

She was well enough to go outdoors and chase her tail.

Then, she heard a mouse in the snow. You can hear the mouse squeal! They build tunnels under the snow.

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!!! So good to see Daisy dancing again and that there is a new and settling dynamic among the cats. Stay warm and hug each other just that bit more today. Much Love, YAM xx

I completely get what you are saying Jenn. This is the first year in decades that we have a houseful. Other years we would try to stay in bed and pretend it was a day off.
Your cats look very happy. My man is looking at the latest FB post of the rescue doggies. I think we MIGHT be welcoming another pet into the house whether I like it or not, LOL. Look out kitties.

Merry Christmas from Hawaii, Jenn. I love seeing all your snow since we don't have any here where I live. There is snow on Mauna Kea, but that's on the Big Island.

Merry Christmas to you both and your fur covered babies!
I was wishing for your photo skills this morning. I was sitting by the window and saw a bright red cardinal poke its head out of the cedar tree. Would so love to have that picture to keep.

I am so thankful Daisy is improving, Hooper has a buddy to lie on, Annabelle is starting to go closer, and for you both, fondest wishes for a Joyous Christmas, a wonderful day on the 26th, and let 2018 be a happy year with health continuing to be as good as it gets. Love,XXXXX

Glad to hear Daisy is coming along. I can just feel Hooper snuggling up against my neck. He may look like my old Cessna, but he sure doesn't act the same. - Margy
