I've been following NaPoWriMo.net reasonably well, but must admit that the prompts haven't inspired me.
Project Warrior
Down the meadowthrough the forest
my warrior Daisy
isn't the sorest
her giant leap for feline furry
did not match my painting fury
simple projects get complicated
the smallest tasks will be ill-fated
wood secured to keep out critters
wasps indoors, they give me jitters
expanding foam was everywhere
on my face and in my hair
next the paint and then the ladder
achy muscles they make me madder
I used a mineral oil product on the wood, and it was everywhere! The expanding foam was even up my nose, as I must have had an itch. It's taken days to get rid of it. I wore gloves, but then they got so sticky I had to lose them. All I wanted was to plug the holes, but then the woodpeckers have been busy, too.

If only all this wonderful place would develop self-repair!!! I admire your tenacity at keeping it all going. YAM xx
That's crazy about the mineral oil! I used it once on corn - you put a drop on the tip of each ear and it's supposed to prevent worms.
I get the drift with this poem. You are up to your nose in projects.
Daisy is such a treasure!
The owl photo is awesome.
Daisy is so cute - I bet she can be mischievous :)
Have a Happy Week ahead!
Peace :)
beautiful owl image...i also love that image of the wood duck, they are spectacular!!!!
Oh, Daisy, you made my day when you pulled that twig over to you, as if you intended to build a raft of twigs to get you across. But your legs are still strong, and they got the job done.
Love, K
First, the wood duck....we don't get them down here often, but I'd love to be able to get a photo for my bird sanctuary wall like you did!! Wow. And Daisy...cute as can be.
Love the owl.
