Annabelle and I built a turtle basking platform! Buster came and sat on my lap. See the fallen maple leaves? August is coming to a close, it's cooler at night. Still, perfect days with few bugs and warm temperatures.

The real value of keeping a daily journal is not the content of your journal. It's the habit of daily reflection and introspection that it creates.–Russell Pollari
"If there is evidence of privilege, it's to feel so insulated from adversity, so inoculated from suffering, so immune from struggle, so unaffected by reality—that you could simply turn off the news, because the act feels inconsequential to your existence."

Lovely, languorous, late-summer vids and pix... YAM xx
just gorgeous, well other than the frogs.......I hate frogs!!
The cats look quite used to the dock. I am noticing cooler temps in the evenings. This morning I mused about taking a pullover sweater.
You live a very pleasant life by your pond.
You really built yourself a little magic spot there! Love it.
I like what Yam said. Sounds like a glorious thing.
I also love the photos of the cats "using" the dock as a big, new plaything. I'm sure they think it was built for them.
And a cat in your lap? A blessing.
