Perth Kilt Run: the start videos

Think of Braveheart! They stomped up, home made shields and swords, pipers coming up behind. The warriors parted and the pipes came to the front of the line.

The fiddler was fabulous, as the music sped up to that well-timed 6:15 p.m. start! Ready, set, go!

Wow, Jenn, the contestants just kept coming and coming, didn't they? Men, women, boys, girls... and you're right, the fiddler did a great job, but there are few things I like better than a pipe and drum band. The sound tugs at my heartstrings and stirs generations of genetic memory in my soul.
Well, that's enough of me waxing semi-poetic!
Congratulations on the yucca flower. And I love the cat memorial. I remember when Buster and Felix were kittens.
Now I have a dog reminding me it is 12:02 and she hasn't had her lunch.
Luv, K

They really are wearing kilts!

And I'd swear I saw war paint on a face or two...
