Reflections on water

The staff of life...
There must be a poem in here somewhere!

Too bad I have to scrape & sand paint in order to repaint the cottage, in preparation for repairs and some new eavestrophe. This is so much more fun!

If I were gainfully employed I'd be able to hire 'peeps'!
OK, back to work.

Oh dear Jenn - it happens to us all sometimes - there are so many beautiful shots to take but there is sanding and scraping and painting to be done too. Once it is all finished you will be glad you resisted the temptation.

It's true, Weaver! When the cottage, built in 1962, doesn't rot in the generous amounts of rain we've been having, we will be thankful.
I had a hot bath after working for a couple of hours. Definitely feeling I am over 50!
I have to pace myself.
The cats are not much help and hubby has put his back out (which was originally done by helping my father get back into bad!).
But I do have to write a poem, still!

Cone flowers can be purple--and they are also called cone flowers!
