The Veery, a new one for me, and an owl chick, guess you'll see that soon, Hope the black baby has gone for some time and found new pastures and feeding areas!!!
I am lucky, Keith! Except, it's atop a gully, just on the neighbour's land, truthfully, with poison ivy, bear, mosquitoes and black flies in the gully!

How exciting! It's my wish...or dream to see an owl in the wild! And to hear the babies is really special! WOW!

The veery's rather pretty.
You have such wonderful wildlife around your place. It must be exciting to see all the things on your walkies. - Margy
You're lucky to have the owl nest right on your yard.

All the best Jan
I've never even heard of a veery. What fun to walk through your woods.
