I will begin with a mystery bug. I've posted this all over social media, but no one seems to know what it is! Another critter made a cocoon. This bug came to visit. It was there from 8 a.m. and laying until 5 p.m. I'd think it was something related to the aphids or leaf hoppers, but I don't know.
Someone on iNaturalist says it is an arthropod.
Arthropods Phylum Arthropoda
I sped this up 8x, thinking it was laying eggs. It has stopped and moved off about 20 cm.

The 2 coyotes kept on going until they reached the second camera! The deer came by later.2 Coyotes & deer Aug. 14 from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.
This is a sort of lesson in planting trailcameras! Don't have it face west! Usually south is best. (Unless you want a pretty scene!)Silly Fred was checking out the exit it'd created. I blocked it on him! Something tells me he isn't a 'she!'

This is what you get when you cannot be bothered to change the time back to the correct time after you fiddled with batteries! iMovie allows one to put in the date and time automatically, which is great, if the time is correct. 😃

Your mystery reminds me of Silk Moth... YAM xx
So we will see no little Freds.
Love seeing two kinds of critters in the same area...I know Fred and Skunk have different preferences for food, but they are just walking around in exactly the same place!
Thank you. I hope you do get some answers about your mystery critter.
Can't help you with the bug.
...Google Lens thinks that it may be female wingless tussock moth.
I wonder what that bug is...
Fred provides quite a show lol
Fred is a good sort.
