Overnight storm

Last night, a bit of a storm. I hope the critters fared well.  We had a decent 16.5 mm. This is for hubby, who asked how much rain!

As the storm crossed southern Ontario, there were increasing power outages.

It was impressive. I'm just sorry it took place overnight and we couldn't see it!

Sept. 11 – they visited Easter Island!

JB bought these on one of his last outings with his mother in Yorkville. They hold glasses.

The lightning around midnight was truly impressive. I suppose the thunder was too, but I see better than I hear. But even I could hear that.

Here in Bengaluru too we have showers sometimes quite heavy. Power outages are also common. So we have (like many others) what is called UPS or Uninterrupted Power Supply, which is basically a big rechargeable battery. It kicks in when power goes and when power comes back it gets recharged.

We had a huge clap of thunder just after midnight - thought the roof was going to come in.

I heard rain during the night but it didn't fully wake me.
Your bears are having more fun than I am lately.

You get roughly the same amount of rain as northeast Oklahoma.
I need to get my weather station up and going. Changing batteries is such a hassle.
I love storms. Sitting outside underneath a cover while it is storming.

We've had a ton of rain in Michigan, too. It's getting old.
