McGyver, mice friends, et al

Things have been busy. I McGyvered the corkscrew! Caitlin gave me one after the last Hostage Exchange. (It wasn't holding the screw in.) I pulled the screw out, again! There must have been a cotter pin. I decided, rather than going out into the cold garage to find one, I would use a large piece of a paper clip. Hah!

We've critters out in the dark. I think the boot print was a grandie!

Does anyone remember this? We had a similar popcorn maker when I was a kid. Dad would make popcorn, and we'd watch The Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights.

I had moved the trailcam, the deer feb 12  decided it needed inspection!

The coyote is faint in this video, but you can see him lying down! Lesson learned, the tree was too close and absorbed a lot of the light. It's not the best trailcam I've ever had.

it has been so long, i think ours was a more yellowish bottom section that held the kernels ...then they would pop into the more dome area. that was in the early 80's. i will get some microwave popcorn every once in a while. but i don't enjoy how they stick in your gums. i guess that is the changing for our foods. guess we will have to go heirloom type. One wonders what the deer think of the trailcam.

You're such a great fix-it person! We never had a popcorn popper as a child - always used a pot on the stove. I still do that, although we have had a couple of electric poppers during our adult years.
