It's raining!

It's been a week for news.  I still don't have a date for my cataract surgery. It is so frustrating. I'm happy just to get back to normal routines with my client visits twice a week, and trying not to be irritable with my eyes bugging me.

JB, however, is still coughing and nursing his cold. It's pouring rain today. Such a mess out there. We're going to lose the protection of our snow.

Thursday morning it was -19 C.
Predictions are dire...

We're bonding with Nutmeg. She's very much like Daisy, I find. She is smart, and knows what we are saying to her. It's been cold, but she wants to go out into the Muskoka room.

Annabelle and Cinnamon are still at the Cat's Meow Inn. Cassandra posted this photo of Cinnamon checking out Milo through the door! Cinnamon is such a pistol. They let the cats out when they clean their stalls. I will be so happy when Cinnamon is neutered on Tuesday!
I'll drop Nutmeg off on my way in to pick the others up, then drop off Cinnamon.

♪♫♬Plop, plop, fizz, fizz, oh what a relief it is!

I'm still not sure about the new trailcam. The pictures are lovely, but the settings aren't for a nature lover. It's going to take some practice. This early morning photo wasn't bad.

I spotted our buck out the kitchen window. Slipping out onto the deck, I pissed off the turkeys!

Hello.
I like your photos and video. We don't have snow here. It is a dark winter without snow.
Have a wonderful weekend!

The rain turned to snow at the stroke of noon for us. My daughter in Petawawa says they are getting heavy freezing rain!

Those turkeys can be loud ... but, I still like them. Hope soon your eye surgery will be behind you & all's well.

What a frigid week you've had! I'm sure you've stayed warm though and found lots to stay busy with. It would be hard for me to get out with it that cold. I'm not tough any more! lol Hugs!

It does seem like a decent quality camera.

All those critters in that one trail cam picture...amazing. ... I am so sorry about the tragedy your country experienced and agree with the one comment calling our so-called leader an idiot. I still can’t understand how he happened ... we are in such trouble here. I’m ashamed of the NYTimes as well.

The deer and turkeys seem to get along.
