Daisy used to bully Annabelle. Now she picks on Hooper. A bit of a problem, although the next photo doesn't show this. Some NAFTA 2.0 moment or something.
Hooper tends to be outside in the night. Daisy, as well. Not good. In the warmth of summer, he'd roar in the cat door, and hide under our bed. Now, he roars under the chair on the front deck and sleeps there. I've put a wool bed there. If you look closely, you can see him behind Annie. Annie was glaring at Daisy.
In summer, he'd hide under the stairs, too.
Monday night it got down to 10 C., last night close to 0 C. Daisy has slept out in the Muskoka room at colder temperatures than this. He doesn't come around to the back door, in the Muskoka room, any more. Nor does he ask to come in. I can hear Daisy.
Then there is this...
Of course, the ads are on my Facebook feed, on pages of Bloggers who allow ads, and on my Scrabble game...
Wayfair.ca doesn't have a good customer rating. I refuse to buy at Cheap-Mart. I want a chew-resistant cord. I wonder if we need a roof on it, or not. Perhaps, just a pad under a bed.
This looks fun!
This is what we went with. We ordered it through our local pet store. We'll see how it works.
An, finally, at 3:00 a.m. looking out the back deck for Hooper

We have a couple of stray cats that curl up on the chair cushions at night, wondering what they will fo once the chairs get put away for wonter.
They don't get along do they.
When we had a feral cat hanging around, We made a wooden box with fleecy blankets inside, then stacked the hay around that. When we discovered she was pregnant we had to trap her and take her to the SPCA...broke my heart.
It took me a moment to find Hooper in that shot with Annie.
Wrong colouring for Hooper. I had to get rid of my kitty door in LA. Had a skunk come in for cat food in the kitchen, not to mention the racoon and multiple possums. - Margy
The old barn cats on the farm never came in the house.
