Glorious colours, still. Although, last night it was -4 C. We have to enjoy the colours as they will be soon gone. This is our yard. I just stand and gaze during the day.
Poor hubby needed to go to the dentist. All is well. He needs a cleaning!
Afterwards, we revisited Riverwalk Park in Carleton Place. It's a lovely walk, although it is hard to spot the river in many spots! The geese were visible and quite talkative. Pigeons, too!
Flyfishing...
Lots of birds nearby, as well as birds and bird feeders. It' a perfect spot beside the water in the forest edge. The berries are heavy on the bushes, too. There were several joggers and dog-walkers.
This one (below) is for sale – only $600,000, although it has a conditional offer! That's about double what our 16-acre property is worth! It's a lot of home, with generous lots, backing right on the park. I think you have to be a two-income family, commuting into the city. Most have huge windows.
You do have to watch for the poison ivy!
After our walk, which worked up an appetite, we visited Slackoni's for dinner – The service was tremendous. There was way too much meat and cheese for my tastes. This is from the webpage menu. I didn't take a photo, but mine was more than a 1-person serving of meat. I had the rest for dinner the next day.

What gorgeous fall colours!
Looking all so charming ♥
gorgeous colour on your trees, the mornings have been frosty but the afternoons are very nice for finishing up outside work and taking walks to enjoy the fall colours
The orange-reddish color of the leaves and the blue color of the sky are dominant and enlivening your pictures. Even the not so blue color of the water adds dimension to the pictures.
I like the central photo with the couple on the bench contemplating the scenery.
Some how or other I began reading this post thinking it was your place. I went back and yes it's another one of your fabulous road trips.

Now that is what I call an autumn - somehow we are not really getting these beaut colours...so far... and as the rain is now setting in, we probably won't. They'll just go brown and slimy. Hey ho... I too love the candid couple shot! YAM xx
I walk that trail often. It's nearby.
You come to CP for the dentist, and go into Ottawa ... although I'd like to change that.
wow, those trees are gorgeous!!!
We are expecting a big blow tonight so that might be the end of our maple leaves. That sure is a big piece of meat. We ate out last night at Mexican food. Even that is getting so expensive, but it tasted wonderful. - Margy
