#5 Tupper Lake: Paint Party: The Wild Center

We visited The Wild Center, in Tupper Lake, in the activity room, they have some crafty art opportunities. Over head, on 2 large screens, they demonstrate how to draw some of the wild animals found in the Adirondack forests (owls, for example).

You can sit down with water colours and sketch to your heart's delight! We visited twice, on Saturday and back on Sunday. You can hang your art on a clothesline and come back for it. We forgot the first day.

Jos and I did caterpillars! You'll note I took creative licence!

Now getting people to draw is a cool activity.

I was trying to sketch in my journal, now I can't seem to find the time to write let alone sketch. Good for you. - Margy

Excellent fun and love the pillars... the vids as always are great little windows... I am almost hesitant to say it, but today has dawned cloudless and bright - but then I have driven over to Edinburgh, where it tends to always be better than at my side.... sigh.... father and I are going to be painting today... garden gate!!! Sounds like you had fun! I've done that with friends before. We hung a bunch of colour paper towel to use in mixed media pieces!

That would certainly draw in the kids.
