The best time of day is from 6 - 9 a.m., and I like to ease myself into the day!
My neighbours allow me to leave my canoe in their isolated little bay. It is so kind of them.
It wasn't a long canoe ride, but there was quite a wind. You can see where I went over the land. Actually, the GPS pooched out on me. I went across to the west shore, then crossed with the wind. My arms were sore a couple of days later. At my age, I really have to do these things on a regular basis.
Amazing trip! |

Better late than never. Such a peaceful looking spot.
Kudos to you for the canoe ride! Especially that it was windy, and this sport needs a calm day. I suppose you've got nicely shaped arms from practicing this sport. Good for you!
You're pretty handy with a camera and canoe. I'm sure you would have floated if you capsized. I'm sure you had a life est?
We love using a GPS on our quad rides, especially in areas unfamiliar to us. At least we can follow our track back to the starting point. We can also record tracks for future trips for us to follow until we can memorize the turns and twists of logging roads. - Margy

Oh how wonderful to be on the water again... the ultimate immersion in nature. YAM xx
That would be so much fun! And you got some great photos too!
It looks like it was a good day to be out on the water.
