Silly girl!

They don't come this close, normally, in summer. I'm happy to share the bird bath water, however. The wetland appears frozen, but it is not. There are the odd places where water is open, not enough for a drink.
I love the water dripping down her chin!

Good thing I added water to the bird bath yesterday. Today I need to add more!!!

They know where to come, even trying the bird feeders. I missed yesterday's photos, what a wonderful walk you both had.

Nice shot. With the shape and depth of your bird bath , no wonder it cracks when it freezes. Make sure the cord doesn't get unplugged again.

it saves them bending down by drinking out of the bird bath!!! Great video.

I imagine they could slurp that bath down in one big swallow (can't watch the video right now -- small house, Bill is visiting in the other room with our boat guy).
