Owl hunting and a trip to Smiths Falls

No owls. Two crows, some grackles, a flock of pigeons. It was a nice outing, except we were, apparently, going too slowly!

First stop was Lombardy Fair Grounds. I travel by, on my way to a client's house. I'd noticed a sad destruction of the fairgrounds pillar.

This beautiful old house was a pub. Now, it isn't anything. Mind you, we didn't go there, ever!

The falls look so frosty and sparkly! The window was somewhat dirty, but you can see the sparklies!

I am sporting a new hair colour! We had lunch at the pub, whilst the falls fell and the sun shone.

And outside, they always circle around the falls:  a flock of pigeons. No owls.

One wonders if the pillar's salvageable.

Everything is beautiful, and the hair colour is "divine", like it sooo
much.

Did the pillar fall over on its own or was it bumped, I wonder. Maybe the bricks can be used to rebuild it in the spring. The old house/pub must have been a beauty in its day. The sparkly waterfall is pretty but brrrrr! it looks cold.
