Snapping turtles are on the move!

Snapper on the road from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.
I encouraged this medium sized snapping turtle to keep on going. It was missed by several cars and a school bus. I assured the kids who got off the bus, that I would go back and check on it after I parked.
They are on the move, finding places in soft sand to lay eggs.

Love the signs, Jenn, and gotta love you for volunteering to go back to check on the turtle.
By the way, you will be featured on Real Toads this weekend, as far as I know.
