Smiths Falls for lunch

Frosty
After our big trip to Kemptville, April 1st, we ended up having lunch after a brief shopping trip. I best show these before summer!!!!

We found a new little group of stores that we liked. One sells chalk paint.

The Gilded Monarch brings beauty to Smiths Falls

I'm thinking of using it on frosty. We shall see.

Despite the frozen lakes, the vultures and blue herons are back!

Hard to imagine the cold and frozen lakes when it's so hot here in Florida. LOVE the heron on the nest. What a great photo! Frosty is cute too. Enjoy your week! Hugs!

Like Lavender Dreamer, it's hard to imagine the cold since I'm feeling hot also here in Hawaii. I'm going to wish for some of your cool breezes when I go to Zumba in a few minutes.

"Before Summer "??? There is still ice, snow, and grey skies, are you in dreamland up there? Or maybe that was just there, and at your home summer is just around the corner. Those herons are majestic. Down here, fires every morning and night, knee still painful, had a laptop glitch, all fixed, sewing machine gone for its check up. I will have to turn to some sorting, tidying, and maybe tentative packing. Will email.XXX

Seeing the date, I remember snow still being around at that point. I've seen herons in town as well.

Wonderful trip -- good lunch, good company, beautiful nature, good (unique) shops. And a heron on the nest!
