Almonte's hydro plant

I agree with harnessing the water. Many are fighting it in Bala, in the region of Muskoka Lakes, Ontario. (See Bala Falls Hydro Project)
There are a few who demand the right to use such water for their personal enjoyment.
What with flooding, deep waters, drownings, perhaps this is best to keep people away.
This video shows the creation of Almonte's dam.



This strikes me as a scary place for kids.
