April 28th – Found them in the dead elm tree trunk.

Flickers

I noticed them in several spots, the lawn, and in the trees, then spotted the nesting hole. This is our dead elm. 

May 8th, I heard it inside!

They have been dancing about, you can see in the video. It seems as if there are two males and a female. They've been at it in the trees.

We have a pair, and they've been grubbing for me! I saw it find one, bright white, and chomp it down. It found a number of bugs. In the end it flew off when a Mourning dove appeared!

In the front yard, there was some traffic. The 🐦FLICKERS are nesting, as well.
