We were headed to Brockville, perhaps the real last summer-like day around here. The high was to be 28 ℃, which is lovely.
Moving season, the end of the month.
I noticed how dry it was. The pond is usually full. The farmers trying to harvest crops...
And still there are pretty leaves.

This was worrisome! I warned Joe, and he pulled over. The truck got in just in time, the car behind us passed us and roared away.
It was uneventful, except for this moment ↕! Joe had to pull off the road.
This deck is amazing. I love driving by. We sure don't know enough people to fill it!
More to come. We had another frost last night. I'm going to have to shut down the water fountain and fix up the bird bath. Our family is arriving from Vancouver tonight for Thanksgiving. We'll see what happens.

yes it was some chilly this morning!! I'm not surprised at the number of brush fires burning here and there. Everything is so dry even with this bit of rain the past couple of days.

Scary times on the road, what did that driver think he could achieve by passing one more vehicle? !!!!A very warm day then a frost. Autumn has well and truly arrived.

It has been very dry here also. That tree is just gorgeous!
Farm traffic can be scary sometimes and no one is patient any more!
We just had a couple of bad accidents involving a 17 yr old driving a farm semi with a load who ran into someone stopped to turn in their driveway. The farm kid was in serious condition and thankfully none of the other 4 vehicles involved were seriously injured.
It happens so often around here. Everyone needs to slow down. Besides, I have no idea where they think their soybeans are going.
The storage is full with no beans moving anywhere.
