Leafing things here

It's been beautiful, seeing our leaves turn. I knew rain was on the way, there was mulching to do.

It looks wonderful. Well, it did. Most of these leaves are gone.

Non-mental note: clean out the leaves in the eaves!

The garden is slowly getting cleaned up.

We had a huge dump of rain, Wed., OCt. 22nd. I'm glad I didn't put away this rain barrel. The goldfish pond is full.

Last of the summer plants.

We were expecting rain. I zipped around doing a leaf mulch. This is the day after. They fell again!

Once it dries up, I'll have to do it all again. Good thing I like to roar around on the lawn tractor!

You just want to play on the tractor. 😀

The occasional red tree is wonderful but I love the orange and yellow most -- they always show up, even on the gloomiest of days!

Lots of leaves, But so much beauty in the trees. They are truly gorgeous in color. Have an awesome day...

I still have spring bulbs and mulching to do. I put off mulching until the rains came because the leaves would just blow away, they were so dry. The coming days are looking pretty darn COLD.

There is definitely something meditative about zooming about on a lawn tractor...I'm guessing. There are some beautiful leaves still on those trees...so you've got your work cut out for you!

You have some lovely leaves there and a fine record of them. My guy is chewing because after a horribly dry summer, now that he wants dry to get the leaves up, we have rain and more rain. We need it but we need the leaves up, too, before the first heavy frost cakes them.

The colors you have are so beautiful! Ours are pretty dull right now, but I'm still enjoying them.

Jenn - I have not been blogging much over the summer - and now I have a rainy day to sit down at the computer and catch up with the blogosphere! Your trees and piles of leaves are gorgeous! I miss the deciduous trees of my youth! Out here in Montana we get only golds from the Tamaracks and the aspens!
