I cannot resist talking about the day for Americans. It impacts the rest of the world. Nothing surprises any of us any more. What I find amazing is that all this money is going to him. As Joe pointed out, he's not a young man, he won't be able to live long enough to spend all this money!

My Vancouver grandies went to a ski race on the weekend! Both girls take cross country ski lessons.

Here at home it was curling, football, and tennis in the basement. I made him a fire, and the cats enjoyed that. I watched some thrillers upstairs.
Dinner was a one-pan meal. I threw in rice, canned tomato, onion, peppers, green beans, spices, water, two pork chops, and hoped for the best. Chopping a butternut squash into chunks, I sliced my finger in the process. Well, leftovers!
Monday it is garbage day. It is so cold! It's -17℃. I decided to drive the garbage and recycling the 100m to the highway! I was punished for it, as the trunk door hit me on the head.
My friend, Erica, gave me permission to post these photos of her recent Lake Effect Snowfall from Muskoka! It is amazing. People have to shovel a path for the pets, to get to their cars. It is a slow process.
You just have to dress for it, take lots of breaks, and stay hydrated!
