My world has shrunk. It is a tad chilly out there, -11 ℃. (Now, ℃. and ℉ meet at -20!)
My entertainment director found us The Company You Keep, based on the Weathermen Underground (Wiki). It's a great story, with all sorts of big actors, Directed by Robert Redford.
Below, the front deck, with cat supervisors. Unlike those who lecture, the cats don't sit and wait for the birds. They are smarter than that. They are concentrating on Dratted Red Squirrel (DRS). We had 4 or 5 around the feeders the other day.
The birds are wary. The squirrels, as well. I keep track, and 85% of their prey this year was non-avian! Their total was 54 catches, and three releases. Primarily rodents.
Karen asked about settings for this photo. I checked... I just kept twisting the dial until I found a setting!
I bought this remnant, along with another piece. The smaller piece I will use. This large one, I've donated to our local Queer support group. I consider myself an ally to the LGBTQ community. With on grandie Gay, the other Trans, we have to model the behaviour we like to see in our neighbours.

I like your windsock too. Pretty captures of the snow.
Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend.
We also consider ourselves to be allies.
Beautiful material! Ally is good; the world should be kinder. Glad you're in Canada. insurance is getting bad even for straight folks in the US. LOVE how you keep track of the kitty cat catches. Sounds like they earn their keep! Linda in Kansas
Looks like your camera is getting lots of good use .and the fabric, beautiful. Yes, we all have to change when family change, adjust our thinking and show they are always loved.
Love your support of the LGBTQ community. And am feeling a tad cooler (thank you) looking at your photos. We have another day well into the thirties (C) to look forward ahead of us. And Christmas Day will be over 35..
Wow that's a huge rainbow flag. I like your windsock too...and your snowflakes captured in a photo, however you did it.
It is good weather to make one think about hibernating.
Love the pictures of the snow.
I'll keep an eye out for that movie. It sounds good. I love your flag fabric and it's always good to see the cats!
