Sunset

We've a melt coming, and rain. I loathe that. This morning it was -12 ℃.

On icy roads, I was looking for a sunset.

I spotted a pair of deer. I bet you can't see her ↓ !

I had to crop the image. They have such good camouflage.

Otty Woods

It was a full moon!

Funny story, I did a u-turn, as I wanted to capture this image. It wasn't very good. Right behind me one of those busy parcel people. I blocked him, not realizing he was behind me. I pulled into the shoulder, and waved 'sorry!' He grinned!

Sunset in 2012! Look at the size of the evergreen trees.

Look at the trees now! Our sunsets are quite as visible, but the trees are a great barrier for the highway noise.

The snow looks so lovely on the pines!

The roads look pretty crappy though! We had lots of ice on Saturday and fog and ice today.

Such pretty skies! We have so many trees that you have to get in the car and drive out of here to catch a sunset properly:)

Glad you have the trees between you and the highway. Loved seeing the before/after shots of your evergreens!

A delightful series. Even cropped I had trouble spotting the deer. Your eyes are much more practiced than mine.

That road looks scary, Josh is back in Vancouver, good timing as the road he had to travel every day, 80km, had a HEAVY snow warning, 6 inches and the road cams showed even more. Down here, I find it hard to imagine your life up north, deer at the back door, well almost, wildlife galore, and snow. Keep warm.XXX

We have no snow at all down here so it is nice to see your pics.

I don't mind the rain so much as the ice that comes after it, should the temps drop. Be safe!

Keep your eyes wide open and you'll see lots of good photos out there.

We haven't had snow yet, but we have had bitterly cold temps. Your road looks scary!
