I could hear a plane going over and over. Running outdoors I found it and came back indoors to track it. This is trickier than it looks. I think I am getting better at it! Still not there, yet. Between my shakes (nerves), the sunshine, and my reading glasses!

Amazing to see an old DC 3 in the sky. When I flew in them in the 60's they were very old.
That looks more recent than a plane from 1942.
Amazing, we have the technology now to track planes!
Earlier, I used to see lots of planes flying overhead. That's when the Bangalore airport was close by.
Now the airport is no long in the city. It's on the outskirts. So I rarely get to see them.

That's weird... Xcalibur are a geophysics company out of South Africa (they have operated in Canada... via the 'absorbed' CGG. Xcalibur does not show any twin-turbine aircraft on their manifest (see their gallery on that link). However, CGG is registered at 9 Gurdwara Rd, which is why the call sign is CGGSU I guess!
Anyway, nothing beats the sound of a DC3 going overhead... (We'd be dangerous if we ever decided to team up as detectives!) YAM xx
Hubby tracks planes too, being close ti CFB Trenton means he sees lots of military ones. Also notices more passenger jets off to various places now.
Since I currently live near the Air National Guard airport we hear the fighter jets taking off a few times each week. If I just hear them first they are already out of sight but once in a while I catch a glimpse of them streaking across the sky, always heading north.
