We have one doe that usually stays around us in the summer. Most of the others take off.
The cats were quite curious. Cin on the garden stone, Nutmeg easing closer to her.
Nutmeg trotted towards the grass, where the mice are, and our doe backed off.
My poor frogpond is drying up. There are three bullfrogs on it.
The aspen grove (formerly known as poplar), are growing nicely. The deer trim them, so it's taken them some time.
I keep taking photos of my hosta, anticipating the doe from trimming them.
Then, in the backyard, I peeked out after dinner, and noticed our baby porcupine eating clover.
From there, I went down to the pond, and the doe bounded off.
Apparently, the doe ran around and to the other side of the frogpond!
This is Cin. He reminds me of my brother who, after 5 minutes at the cottage got a soaker!

The deer is so lovely!
The porcupine, i have had a lesson in wildlife eating habits, love the clover flowers, that is a wonderful grass for hay down here, or it was when I was a child. Great video, you have a super zoom.
These visitors keep your day interesting.
So cute to have that deer hanging around.
