Critters galore, even creepy crawlies!
We were watching TV, Hooper on my lap. He's a good snuggle puss.
Later, I noticed a speck on my shoulder – it was moving. It is highly unusual to have ticks in February, but it's been so mild.
I keep track of the ticks, curiosity, as well as statistics! I loved math...
The flags I made on a dull late winter day last year. They keep the birds away from the window. They made a delightful shadow in the video (below).
What a boy! Hooper (7 mos.) likes to sit up above the dignified Miss Annie (age 5) and give her a hard time. It was so nice to see the sun.
Here they are in action, if you are so inclined!

I'm surprised Hooper wasn't batting at those shadows on the wall. Miss Annie's expression is pretty funny, not nearly amused as the rest of us.

I love how Annie was responding with just enough authority but not without some playfulness! Hooper is most handsome and the flags lend great character! YAM xx
That's one way to keep track of weather. My, how nice it is today.
I warn my birders to watch out for ticks. I warned my outdoor ed kids to watch for ticks. I've had a couple of ticks and they're not nice.
It's cute watching them bat away at each other!
Muito agradável apreciar as fotos e o vídeo, especialmente os gatos, que gosto muito.
Jenn abraço do Brasil!
I know there are ticks around here, but fortunately I've never encountered one on my person. If I did I think I would freak. Wayne picked up a leech once swimming in a lake and that was bad enough. - Margy
Ticks already, darn :(
Yikes! Ticks? When I was pregnant and we went camping with friends a tick managed to attach itself to my stomach. I did write a whole blog post about how we got it off. I'll have to look that up. LOL
Oh boy, ticks totally squick me out. I hope I never feel one on me, yikes, but I spent bunches of time in the woods myself.
As my 1st comment, I should add, lovely blog, such a beautiful refuge from the hue and cry of social media.
